The resort of Chamrousse is located at the end of the Belledonne mountains, 30km away from Grenoble.
It extends on two levels : Chamrousse 1650 (Recoin) and Chamrousse 1750-1700 (Roche Béranger - Bachat-Bouloud) linked by the ski slopes and the forest tracks, for an overall area of 1300 hectares.
The resort was built in the forest, offering an outstanding overview of the Grenoble valley. 2250 meters high, the Croix de Chamrousse is the highest point.
